Location: Gatwick Airport (South and North Terminal)

Pay Rate: £12.20 per hour with shift premium on unsocialable hours.

Shifts: We are looking for candidates who are able to commit to working a 3 nights on – 3 nights off roster, working one of the following shift times:

2300 to 0400 = 17.5 hours per week x 4

2200 to 0500 = 24.5 hours per week x 1

2100 to 0400 = 24.5 hours per week x 1

Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing effective and efficient stock handling to support retail teams to deliver exception sales and customer service

Key Accountabilities:

• To ensure deliveries, transfers and returns are processed correctly
• To accurately check deliveries against delivery paperwork
• To safely transport stock
• To ensure that shelves are stocked to merchandising standards
• To participate in planned cleaning routines
• To prevent company property loss
• To maintain high standards within the day-to-day operations including: personal appearance and merchandising
• To comply with all company health and safety and trading standards guidelines
• Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
• Ability to communicate verbally in English
• Physically fit to handle heavy loads
• Customer focused and able to engage with internal and external customers
• Organised and numerate with analytical skills
• Experience with replenishment and merchandising
• Self-motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and an effective team member
• Excellent time keeping and attendance

Desirable:

• Experience in either a retail service or warehouse environment
• Relevant product knowledge
• Manual handling training

What we need from you:

• Ability to access the London Gatwick Airport
• Ability to provide a full 5 year background check alongside a criminal record check
• Preferable manual handling experience
• Due to the shift nature of the role all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to handle alcohol
• Must be over 18 due to the shift nature of the role
