Vending Operator – Temp to Perm at Gatwick Airport

Location: London Gatwick Airport
Contract: 13-week Temp-to-Perm through One Resourcing
Hours: Full-time & Part-time positions available (including overnight and weekend shifts)
Salary: £12.20 per hour

One Resourcing is recruiting Vending Operators for a temp-to-perm opportunity at Gatwick Airport, working with a leading vending service provider, PG Group. This is a fantastic chance to join a growing team at one of the busiest airports in the UK, with the potential to go permanent after 13 weeks.

About the Role:

As a Vending Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Stocking & Maintaining Machines: Keep vending machines (primarily cold drinks) clean, fully stocked, and in perfect working order.
• Fixing Issues: Diagnose and repair machine faults (training provided).
• Responding to Service Calls: Quickly react to service issues and communicate with the Operations Manager to ensure a smooth operation.
• Teamwork: Support your colleagues by covering holiday or sickness absences as needed.

This role involves some manual handling and walking long distances within the airport, so being physically active is key!

What We’re Looking For:

• Customer-Focused: You’ll need to have experience working in a customer-facing role and be committed to delivering a great experience.
• Technical Skills: Basic technical or mechanical knowledge is helpful (but training will be provided).
• Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with the team.
• Previous Airport Experience: Preferred, but not required.
• Five-year checkable History. Required to obtain an airside pass at Gatwick.
